Neil is a senior litigation partner with many years experience of commercial and civil disputes.
Having dealt with many areas of litigation Neil has conducted contract, professional negligence, partnership disputes and has significant experience of high value personal injury cases. He is an active and highly regarded Mediator dealing with substantial disputes, including commercial contract, employment, partnership and clinical negligence cases. In relation to Employment Law he advises on employment contracts, policies and transfer of undertakings for commercial clients. As an experienced advocate he is highly regarded in representing clients in all types of employment disputes including discrimination and unfair dismissal cases.
Neil has held the Higher Rights of Audience (All Proceedings) Qualification since 1997 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has dealt with most areas of commercial litigation. An accredited Mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) since 1997, Neil has a strong reputation and interest in alternative dispute resolution. He is a member of the Sports Dispute Resolution Panel as well as other national mediation panels. Neil has been a partner in McCormicks since 1986. He qualified in 1981.
