Yorkshire Young Achievers Awards PDF Print E-mail

The Yorkshire Young Achievers Awards come of age in 2010, reaching their 18th anniversary, and this milestone is being marked with the creation of a brand new charity, the Yorkshire Young Achievers Foundation.

Since the Awards were founded in 1993, they have raised £800,000 to support young people across the region. The creation of the Foundation will allow the fundraising to help even more children and youngsters in Yorkshire.

There are a number of ways to get involved with Yorkshire Young Achievers whether as a partner, a fundraiser or a supporter of the Yorkshire Young Achievers Awards.

If you have a fundraising idea or would like to take part in any of our fundraising events then we would love to hear from you.

The Awards are open to anyone who was born, lives or works in Yorkshire and is under the age of 35. We always have a Youngster of the Year award too, to mark the achievements of someone under 12.

If you have someone to nominate, if you want to know more about the categories or about sponsoring the event, please visit the Yorkshire Young Achievers website.

This year's event will be held on Thursday 25 November 2010 at Leeds United FC.
